Centella asiatica is a
perennial found on roadsides, gardens, or forests. Stems crawl on
the ground and propagate themselves by taking roots at nodes. Leaves
measure 2.5-5cm in diameter, kidney-like circular, with bases
reniform, margins with shallow serrations, and petioles with
vaginate floors. Nodes emerge 1-2 inflorescences in which small
flowers bloom in clusters. Bloom time: May-August. |
