Centella asiatica
is a perennial found on roadsides, in gardens, or in forests. Stems
crawl along the ground and propagate themselves by forming roots at
their nodes. Leaves measure 2.5-5cm in diameter, kidney-like and
circular, with bases reniform, margins with shallow serrations, and
petioles with vaginate leaves. Nodes emerge 1-2 inflorescences in
which small flowers bloom in clusters. Bloom time: May-August. |
