Cryptotaenia japonica, a perennial herb 30-80cm tall, occurs in damp
places, such as forest floors or edges; its stems are erect and
branch at the upper parts. Leaves are of a ternate compound leaf;
the leaflets are oval, with pointed tips and margins with double
serrations. Branches sparsely bear compound umbels with small white
flowers; as peduncles are long and short, the inflorescences do not
form an umbrella shape. Bloom time: April-May. |
