Glechoma hederacea ssp.
grandis, a perennial herb of 5-25cm in height, attaches leaves
in opposite phyllotaxis, 1.5-2.5cm in length, 2,3cm in width, in a
roundish kidney shape, and margins with obtuse serration. Axils bear
1-3 light purple labiate flowers, 1.5-2.5cm in length, 2-3cm in
width. As flowering is over, the stems become vines and take roots
at nodes. Bloom time: April-May. |
