Juncus
leschenaultii: A
perennial occurring in wetlands or the water's edges, the stems are
flat with narrow wings, growing to 20-40cm in height. Leaves are
sword-like linear with tube-bundles texture insides and a 2-3mm
width. The inflorescences spread apart in a cyme way, with many
flower heads - each with 3-10 florets. Stamens are three capsules in
the shape of an acute head and long trigonal pyramid, and the size
is as long as perianth segments or a little more. Bloom time:
