Juniperus conferta is
an evergreen shrub growing in sandy soil or on rocks in seashores,
trunks crawling on the ground with gray-brown barks. Leaves are
needle-shaped, 1-2cm in length, in whorls of three; tips are sharply
pointed, which hurt to touch. Flowers are dioecious: Male flowers,
yellow-brown, are as long as 4 millimeters, in the shape of an
elliptical, and females spherical. Bloom time: April. |
