Lychnis
miguelliana, a
perennial herb, 40-80cm in height, stem nodes of which are thick and
tinge purple-black. Leaves are alternate, oval, or oblong-like
lanceolate, 4-12cm long, with pointed tips and margins with hairs.
Stem tips make approximately 5cm-in-diameter vermillion flowers;
petals are five in number, in the shape of an obovate, with two deep
color ramenta at each base. Bloom time: July-October. |
