Millettia japonica is
a deciduous climbing shrub inhabiting mountain roadsides, forest
fringe, etc., the slender stem going up counterclockwise around the
bush in the vegetation to the top. The leaves are alternate, 19-25cm
long, of the imparipinnate compound. Many light yellow-white
papilionaceous flowers are born in a hanging raceme coming out from
the side of a new branch. |
