Parnassia foliosa var. nummularia is a perennial herb that is
10-30cm tall and inhabits wetlands in mountain valleys. Its radical
leaves with long petioles, 2-4cm in length and width, are
heart-shaped, while the other leaves on a stem, lacking petioles,
embrace the stem. A single 2-2cm across flower appears on a shoot
apex in August-September, with the margins of the five white petals
splitting into threads. Bloom time: August-September. |
