Pedicularis resupinata ssp. oppositifolia is
a perennial herb inhabiting grasslands in mountainous regions, with
stems growing to 30-60cm in height, nearly without branching. Leaves
with 5-10mm long petioles are opposite at the lower parts and
alternate at the upper legs, 4-9cm long, 1-2cm wide, oblong-ovate,
with precisely shaped double-serrates on margins. Flowers set
themselves on upper parts facing sideways. Corollas are red-purple,
2cm long, and divide into two lips; the upper ones become pointed in
a beak way, and the lower ones spread sideways and shallowly cut in
three. Bloom time: August-September. |
