Samolus parviflorus is
a perennial herb found in various places, like damp sections of
wetlands in coastal areas, inland provinces, mountain streamsides,
etc. Stems are slender and grow, having emerged branches diagonally
upwards, up to 10-30cm in height. Leaves are simple; radical ones
have long petioles, while on-stem leaves are of alternate
phyllotaxis, in the shape of an oblong or obovate, 2-6cm in length,
1-2cm in width, the tips not sharp, and the margins are entire.
Flowers, white, 10-20 in number, each 0.2-0.3cm in diameter, bloom
in racemes on the tops of the stem; Corollas are cleft in 5 lobes.
