Scleria parvula
is an annual inhabiting wetland, stems in clusters 25-60cm tall with
three broad wings. Blades are flat, 10-20cm long, and 3-5mm wide.
Stem tips or axils generate approximately 3cm long inflorescences
and set relatively many flowers. The fruit is spherical, about 2mm
in diameter, glossy, and white with grid-like spots. Bloom time:
