Securigera varia, a
perennial herb originating in Europe, some escape from cultivation
and grow in the wild. Stems crawl on the ground to grow to 50-100cm
tall. Leaves are alternate, with imparipinnate compound leaves.
Flowers, papilionaceous, light re-purple, bloom in clusters from
summer to autumn, with upper lips purple-red and lower lips white.
