Semiaquilegia adoxoides is
a perennial herb,10-30cm in height, inhabiting grasslands on
foothills, or roadsides, with vellus hairs on stems. Radical leaves
are of a ternate compound leaf, with long petioles; leaflets cut in
2-3, and the leaflets shallowly cleft afresh. On-stem leaf petioles
are short, and bases embrace the stems. Flowers are somewhat tinged
red, small, 4-5mm in diameter, and bloom facing downward. Sepals are
petaloid, and petals are smaller than the sepals and erect. Bloom
time: March-May. |
