Tetragonia tetragonoides
is a perennial herb occurring in sandy soil on seashores. Stems
branch well, allowing the plant to crawl along the ground. Leaves
are of alternate phyllotaxis, 3-7cm long, oval-like, triangular, and
tender. Flowers are yellow and set 1-2 at each axil. Bloom time:
April-November.
