Triumfetta japonica
is an annual herb occurring on lower parts of hillsides or in
wildernesses. Stems grow to 0.5-1m in height and are hairy. Leaves
with petioles are alternate, in the shape of a broad oval, 5-10cm
long, with three veins, sharp serrations on margins, and hairs on
both surfaces. Short cymes emerged from axils and set some small
flowers gathering together. The fruit is spherical and approximately
7mm in diameter. Bloom time: August-October. |
