Cimicifuga simplex is
a 0.6-1.2m-in-height perennial herb inhabiting forests in
mountainous regions. Leaves are of a bi- to triternate compound
leaf; the leaflets measure 3-8cm long, in the shape of an ovate,
with uneven serrations on margins. Many white flowers set themselves
on the stem tips in a raceme way. The flowers comprise bisexual
flowers and male flowers. Bloom time: August-October. |
