Dianthus armeria, an
annual biennial herb in Europe, was reportedly noticed, having
entered Japan in 1967 and naturalized in western Japan. It grows to
40-70cm in height, with the whole with hairs. Flowers measure
approximately 1cm in diameter, with light red petals, white dots,
and margins irregularly cleft toward the inside. Calyx tubes are
1.5-2cm long and have three pairs of bursas. Bloom time:
