    Dianthus armeria / Noharanadeshiko ノハラナデシコ    
Dianthus armeria, an annual or biennial herb native to Europe, was reportedly observed entering Japan in 1967 and has since naturalized in western Japan. It grows to 40-70cm in height, with the whole plant covered in hairs. Flowers measure approximately 1cm in diameter, with light-red petals, white dots, and irregularly cleft margins toward the inside. Calyx tubes are 1.5-2cm long and have three pairs of bursae.
