Luzula plumosa var.
macrocarpa is a perennial herb common on roadsides, fields,
and mountains, growing in clusters without making runners. Flower
stalks are slender and erect, 12-25cm in height. On-stem leaves are
2-3 in number, and radical leaves are linear and 2-5mm wide, with
long white hairs on margins and tips being challenging and obtuse.
Flowers bloom singly on peduncles in umbel-like inflorescences;
perianth segments are lanceolate, with sharp angles, 3mm long. Bloom
time: April-June. |
