Phyllanthus urinaria is
an annual height of 10-40cm tall found in fields or roadsides with
red stems. As leaves alternate with regularity on branches (ramus
traverses), they look like pinnate compound leaves. The leaves
measure 0.6-1.5cm long and are oblong to obovate. Flowers are tiny;
male flowers set themselves on axils on upper portions and females
on lower axils, with six perianths on either sex. Female spherical
ovaries have protruded wrinkles on the surfaces that remain on brown
capsules. Bloom time: July-October. |
