|Pogonia minor is a
perennial orchid species, terrestrial, inhabiting a sunny grassland
plain that erects 10- to 20cm in height. It's not easy to find one
out. Shimane Red Data Book lists this as a VU.The stem bears a
single 3-7cm long oval leaf in about halfway position and on the
apex a 1.2cm in length flower upward. The light pink flower
habitually not getting fully open, but it can open enough to observe
inside once in a long while.
