Trillium tschonoskii
is a perennial herb that grows in forests, reaching heights of
20-40cm tall. Leaves are in whorls of three,10-18cm long, in the
shape of a rhombus-like broad oval, with pointed tips. Stem tips set
single flowers and open facing sideways; inner perianth lobes, 3 in
number, are petaloid and white,1.5-2cm in length, and outer ones,
also 3 in number, are green, 2-2.5cm long, with tips pointed. Bloom
time: April-May. |
