Calanthe reflexa is
a perennial orchid species inhabiting damp forest floors in
mountainous regions. Its spherical pseudobulbs are a little beneath
the ground surface. Leaves, 3-5 in number, each measuring 10-30cm in
length, lay in a bundle. Flower stalks, 20-40cm in length, are set
with many light red-purple flowers on them. Bloom time: July-August.
