Chloranthus fortune is
a perennial herb found in forests in hilly districts,30-50cm in
height. Leaves of opposite phyllotaxis attach on stem tops generally
in the way of a whorl way. Racemes, 1-5 in number, are erect on the
stem tips, flowers lack perianths, and filaments are long, 8-12mm in
length, and curve inside to envelop pistils. Bloom time: April-May. |
