Eupatorium japonicum is a 1-1.5m tall
perennial growing on river banks. Leaves are of
opposite phyllotaxis, 8-13cm long, long-oblong to
long-oblong-like lanceolate-shaped, and generally
cut into three lobes. Flower heads are light
red-purple and set themselves many on branch tops.
Bloom time: August-September.
