Hepatica nobilis var. pubescens
/ Kesuhamasou ケスハマソウ
Kesuhamasou, or Hepatica nobilis var. pubescens,
sharply looks like Hepatica nobilis var. japonica f. variegata.
Still, the flower stalks and the leaves (both the upper and
underside) bear prominent hairs, which characterizes this. H.
nobilis var. pubescens inhabits cliffs in the country's
semi-shady area, rooting in crevices in the mountain. Bloom time:
March-April.
