Polygonatum lasianthum is a perennial occurring in
forests, fields, and mountains, the rhizome creeping sideways and
branching out; the stem stands upward to 30-60cm with 6-11cm long,
obovate leaves. Flower stalks appear at an axil, branching twice or
thrice, and set about 2cm long flowers downward on either tip. The
perianth segments are connate, leaving a small opening at the end,
about their green. Bloom time: May-June. |
