Polygonatum lasianthum is
a perennial occurring in forests, fields, and mountains, the rhizome
creeping sideways and branching out; the stem stands upward to
30-60cm with 6-11cm long, obovate leaves. Flower stalks appear at an
axil, branching two or three times, and set about 2cm long flowers
downward on either tip. The perianth segments are connate, leaving a
small opening at the end, about their green. Bloom time: May-June. |
