Schizocodon soldanelloides
var. soldanelloides, an evergreen perennial herb, inhabits
rocky areas in mountainous regions or grasslands in high mountains.
Leaves put themselves together at the bases with long petioles.
Blades are orbicular, 3-6cm in length and width, with sharp
serrations on margins, tips not pointed, and surfaces significantly
glossy. Flower stalks, 10-20cm in height, arise from among leaves
and set 3-6 light red flowers on their tops. Corollas measure
1-1.5cm in diameter. The corolla's tips cut into five lobes, and the
margins finely cleft afresh. Bloom time: April-July. |
