One day in early November of 2020, I found myself strolling in part
of a low hill near the sea, where Solidago virgaurea var.
asiatica, a yellow-flowered species, sporadically occurred along
the trail. Among them, I observed there happened to exist a single
white-flowered variety of it. I never saw it happening; as they say,
albinism rarely occurs with yellow flowers.
