Euphorbia sieboldiana
is a 20-40cm tall perennial herb inhabiting hills or mountainous
regions. Stems and leaves often tinge red-purple. The leaves are of
sparsely alternate phyllotaxis, in an oblanceolate to long-oblong
shape. The secretory tissues, which are red-purple, in the cyathium
inflorescences are crescent-shaped, with both ends pointed. Ovaries
are flat and smooth. Bloom time: April-June. |
