The plant looks like a white
variety (form) of Geranium
thunbergii; the leaves split into three lobes around halfway
and are standard across the country. However, in this species,
Geranium
tripartitum, which
inhabits the semi-shady, moist part of a mountain, the leaves are
entirely divided into three portions, a characteristic of this
species. Flowers are white, measuring 1-1.5cm in diameter. Bloom
time: August-September. |
