The plant looks like a white variety (form) of
Geranium thunbergii;
the leaves split into three lobes around halfway and are standard
across the country. However, with this species, i.e.,
Geranium tripartitum,
inhabiting the semi-shady, moist part of a mountain, they are
entirely sliced into three portions, which is one of the main
characteristics of this species. Bloom time: August-September. |
