Lilium
leichtlinii var. maximowiczii f.
tenuifolium
is a perennial
plant that typically reaches a
height of 50 to 80cm. It grows in
mountainous regions, often found on
cliff rocks—the plant blooms with
flowers that extend horizontally
from their rooting spots or hang
almost vertically. The leaves are
linear, measuring 8-15cm in length.
The flowers, which are bright
vermilion, appear in one or more
clusters at the upper part of the
stems. This plant blooms from July
to September. The scientific name,
Lilium leichtlinii var. maximowiczii
f. tenuifolium, is not a new
designation; as of now, the
authority has not established a new
classification under the APG system
for this species. |
