Solanum maximowiczi
is a perennial vine inhabiting forest edges. Leaves are long,
oblong, or obovate, tips tapering to ball-points, with no serrations
on margins. Flowers, light purple or rarely white, are arranged in
cymose inflorescences. Sap fruit, spherical, ripens red. Bloom time:
August-September.
