Veronica anagallis-aquatica is a biennial non-indigenous
species, now spread the country over, inhabits wet environments such
as a streambank, pond, etc. The stem erects approximately 1m from
the rhizome, with opposite oval or lanceolate leaves with minimum
saw-teeth. The serration is so minimum that the plate looks like an
entire. The raceme of many flowers arises from the axil, the flower
corolla with four lobes being up to 1cm in width, vivid bluish
purple. |
