Stellaria aquatica is
a biennial or perennial measuring 20-50 cm tall, often observed
growing in part of fields and hills. The lower part of the stem
crawls on the ground, and the other factors then diagonally ascend
upward to 20-50cm in height; positions close to the nodes have a
purple tinge. Leaves, 2-7cm long, are oval, with upper parts
embracing the stems. Flowers resemble those of another species,
Stellaria media, but females' styles are 5 in number. With S.
media, there are three styles. |
