Utricularia aurea is
a floating, submerged, annual plant growing in mesotrophic ponds or
waterways, stems branching well and the longest reaching around
1.5m. Leaves are cleft in three at the bases, and the outward forms
an oval-like lanceolate shape with many insectivorous sacs. Flowers,
light yellow, 6-7mm in diameter; upper lips erect and lower ones
divaricated flat in a hemispherical shape. Bloom time:
