Viola eizanensis
is a perennial herb found in forests in mountainous regions. Leaves
are entirely cleft into three lobes; on either side, lobes are cut
afresh into two. After flowers, the leaves grow more extensive in
length and width. Flowers, 2.2.5cm in diameter, are light red to
white and, at times, fragrant; the side petals have hair at the
basal portions. Spurs, measuring 6-7mm in length, look fat. Bloom
time: March-May. |
