Viola eizanensis
is a perennial herb found in forests in mountainous regions.
Leaves entirely cleft themselves in three lobes, and on either side,
lobes cut themselves afresh in two. After flowers, the leaves grow
more extensive, both in length and width. Flowers, 2.2.5cm in
diameter, are light red to white and, at times, fragrant; the side
petals have hair at the basal portions. Spurs, measuring 6-7mm in
length, look fat in a way. Bloom time: March-May. |
